Many homeowners do not know there are cost recovery measures available in the State of New Jersey for remediating environmental issues. These measures, when performed correctly, can save you thousands of dollars.
At Firstech Environmental we use our extensive experience and cost recovery measures to minimize or eliminate costs to our clients for oil tank related environmental issues.
|
 |
The situation
Insurance coverage for cleanup costs associated with leaking residential oil tanks may depend on the language and interpretation of the individual policy. It has been Firstech Environmental’s experience that if a third party has been impactedmeaning groundwater or an off-site propertythe homeowner can file a claim with their residential insurance carrier.
How Firstech can help
By documenting that a site has a third party impact, Firstech Environmental can substantially reduce or eliminate the costs to the homeowner associated with the site cleanup.
There are situations where an insurance carrier may make this difficult for you regarding your coverage. Firstech Environmental’s background and experience will help you to document the third party impact and ultimately attempt to sustain insurance recovery measures.
