Firstech Environmental was contracted to perform a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) on a 25,400 square foot retail commercial lease space on a 15.5-acre property. The ESA was conducted by an environmental professional consistent with the guidelines set forth by ASTM Standards on Environmental Site Assessment for Commercial Real Estate (E1527-93).
The scope of work included:

A reconnaissance survey conducted by Firstech Environmental personnel to evaluate the present conditions at the Site and the surrounding area

A review of municipal records and interviews with municipal personnel to determine current and historical ownership and use of the Site and adjacent properties |

A search of various federal and state databases for information relating to recognized environmental conditions at, or in the vicinity of the Site |

A search for/review of aerial photographs, 7.5 Minute Topographical Maps and Sanborn Fire Insurance Maps available from public sources |

Discussions with the current property manager and store managers to evaluate current and potential historical use of the Site and to identify potential recognized environmental conditions at, or in the vicinity of the Site |

Presentation of the results of our assessment in report format |

The results of the ESA indicated no recognized environmental conditions with the exception of asbestos containing floor tile, which was overlain by the current non-asbestos containing floor tile.
